Is your food handler card still valid?

Our certificate is valid for 4 years (the date is printed on the document). Check it here and, if it is time to renew, the course is free and the exam takes 10 minutes.

Enter your certificate number and your ID number and we will tell you straight away whether it is valid and until when.

I got it somewhere else (or I don't remember)

There is no official register of food handlers, so we cannot look up cards issued by other providers. Answer these three questions and we will tell you whether you should renew it. Remember: the card is yours, not your employer's; changing jobs does not oblige you to renew it.

Was your card "low-risk" or for a specific sector (for example, retail only) and do you now work in a kitchen or another high-risk job?
Was it issued more than 4 years ago?
Do you have the certificate to hand (PDF or paper)?
